Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Astrolix, operated by Astrolix AI, a registered business based in Australia ("Astrolix", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or using Astrolix, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Astrolix.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Astrolix. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The service

Astrolix generates astrological charts and AI-assisted interpretations based on the birth details you provide. Features and limits may change over time as we improve the service.

3. Nature of the content — please read

Astrolix is provided for entertainment, self-reflection and personal interest only. Astrological interpretations are not statements of fact and are not a substitute for professional advice. You should not rely on Astrolix for medical, psychological, legal, financial or other important decisions, and you should seek a qualified professional for those. The interpretations are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent; you are responsible for how you use them.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Some features require you to verify your email address. Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

5. Data you enter about others

If you enter another person's birth details (for example, to create a composite or relationship chart), you confirm that you are entitled to provide that information and to have it processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Astrolix, including by attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service, by using it unlawfully, or by using it to harass or harm others. We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe the service is being misused.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Astrolix offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and, unless stated otherwise, renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your paid access will continue until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law, payments are non-refundable. Prices and plan features may change, and we will give notice of material changes where required.

8. Referrals

Our referral programme may provide bonus message allowances when invited users create and verify an account. We may change or end the programme, and we may withhold rewards where we reasonably believe the programme is being abused.

9. Intellectual property

Astrolix, its name, design and software are owned by us and protected by law. You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial use. The birth details and content you enter remain yours; you grant us permission to process them so we can provide the service.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Astrolix is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the content Astrolix provides, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using Astrolix and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the service or other users.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the State or Territory in which the operator is based, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any non-excludable rights you have under local law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Astrolix after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
